Capsulitis of the shoulder is seen on MRI as thickening and hyperintensity of the inferior glenohumeral ligament. This is a 1 minute review of its appearance.

Image Above: PD scans high signal and thickening of the inferior capsule/ inferior gleno humeral ligament ( compare to normal in first image). Note also Anterior capsule is thicker than posterior which is often the case.
